Exciting First Quarter Update!

As the first quarter of the year comes to a close, we want to share some inspiring stories and incredible milestones achieved through your prayers and support. The past few months have been nothing short of remarkable as we’ve journeyed from Houston to the ends of the Earth to share the love of Christ, provide medical care, and uplift communities across Mexico and Central America.

Chihuahua, Mexico: Reaching Indigenous Communities

We kicked off the year in the mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico, with a mission team of 53 dedicated individuals from Mexico and the US. Our goal was to share the Gospel and provide medical and dental care to the indigenous Tarahumara people. We reached over 1,000 people, bringing much-needed services and the message of hope to these remote communities. It was a joy to witness how God is working in these areas, and we look forward to returning later this year.

Transformative Events for Teens in Houston

Back home in Houston, we hosted a soccer tournament and BBQ for unaccompanied minors in shelters. The event brought together 200 teens, and 46 made professions of faith with our counselors. We also held a Valentine's dinner at a Honduran restaurant, gathering 120 teens who found hope and salvation. Let's continue to pray for these young individuals and the ongoing border crisis.

Youth Conferences Across Central America

In March, we embarked on an extraordinary expedition, hosting youth conferences in Querétaro, Mexico; El Salvador; Guatemala; and Honduras. Our goal was to empower the next generation, and we were blessed to reached thousands of  people, training and mentoring local youth to join us in our mission.

Bringing Hope to Remote Nicaragua

Our journey continued with a medical and dental mission trip to Nicaragua, ranked among the top 30 countries for Christian persecution. We traveled for three days through remote locations by boat and horseback to reach our destination, where villagers warmly welcomed us. Despite challenges such as lack of power and running water, our team set up clinics and treated over 300 medical and dental patients, providing prescription and reading glasses, ultrasounds, and dental care.

One of the most moving moments came from a church member in Nicaragua who shared how the government closed church doors and confiscated church property. Despite this, she remained hopeful, saying, "We're waiting to see what God will do." This faith and resilience were truly inspiring.

Reflecting on Our Journey

As we reflect on our time in Nicaragua and across the region, we're exceedingly grateful for the opportunity to address medical and spiritual needs while sharing hope in Jesus. Your support and prayers have made a profound difference in the lives of so many.

We recently had a successful soccer event and an all-girls event, which provided mentorship and support to local teens. We're thrilled to see the impact these events have had and look forward to continuing these initiatives.
