What is Explosión de Amor?
Explosión de Amor is the highlight of the year for hundreds of people from across more than 10 states in Mexico—and this year, we’re expecting over 1,000 in attendance! More than just an event, it’s a powerful gathering where youth, families, and communities come together to see God move in incredible ways, all while experiencing the love of God, unity, and a weekend packed with games, creative activities, and moments that will challenge you, inspire you, and leave you with memories you’ll never forget.

✈️ Travel Info: Fly into Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR). Chacala is about one hour away from the airport, and we can help arrange transportation for you.
How Much Does It Cost?
Good news—Explosión de Amor is completely free to attend!
There’s no cost for the camp itself or the scheduled activities.
Meals during the event are provided at no charge.
Lodging in nearby hotels and any food outside the event will be each participant’s responsibility.
A small store and merchandise booth will be available, and any purchase you make there helps cover event costs.
Where Do We Stay?
Most participants stay at the campgrounds. Bring your own tent and everything you’ll need to rest comfortably. You can choose to stay with your family or in designated men’s or women’s areas.
There is also nearby hotels and Airbnbs.
The campsite is safe, and our dedicated staff and security team work to ensure order and care throughout the event.
What About Food?
Meals are included and free of charge. They’re simple but delicious, prepared with love by a team that makes sure everyone is well-fed and cared for.

Although Explosión de Amor started as a youth-focused gathering, today it’s for all ages. Whether you’re a child, teenager, young adult, parent, or grandparent—you are welcome!
